I'm Kica, a Learning & Development Specialist with experience across aviation, education, defence, qualifications and regulated learning environments.

I combine instructional design expertise with a strong foundation in quality assurance, assessment and compliance, and design learning that is effective, inclusive and aligned to organisational goals.

Inclusion sits at the heart of my approach. By understanding diverse perspectives, backgrounds and learning preferences, I strive to create environments where every learner feels supported, challenged and able to succeed.

Whether designing learning journeys, developing qualifications, facilitating programmes or improving learning quality, my focus remains the same: creating learning experiences that help people and organisations perform at their best.

My Story
In 2020, I left the aviation industry and moved into further education. I had always enjoyed training and mentoring others, so teaching felt like a natural next step.
​
Working in education opened my eyes to the impact that learning design has on the learner experience. I saw how often people were expected to engage with outdated resources, inaccessible content and learning that focused on completion rather than understanding. It sparked my interest in how learning is designed, delivered and evaluated.

Wanting to combine my passion for learning with my aviation background, I joined a private aviation training provider where I facilitated virtual and classroom programmes for UK and international audiences. During this time, I designed compliance training that was successfully audited by the Civil Aviation Authority and developed a strong appreciation for quality assurance, regulation and the importance of getting learning right.

Since then, I have worked across aviation, defence, education, qualifications and the wider learning and development sector. My experience spans instructional design, facilitation, assessment and quality assurance, giving me a broad understanding of what effective learning looks like in practice.
Today, I work with organisations to create learning experiences that are engaging and inclusive. Whether I'm designing a programme, reviewing learning quality or facilitating a workshop, my focus is always on helping people build confidence and competence.​
